Photos from the Shakespeare in Florence week held at the British Institute of Florence in the Palazzo Lanfredini. The week included playreadings; lectures on Shakespeare's historical contexts, Renaissance iconography, classical mythology, and maps; guest lectures on Shakespeare and Venice, and Shakespeare in prison; and excursions to the Uffizi gallery, Boboli gardens and the beautiful Villa Vignamaggio, where Kenneth Branagh filmed his 'Much Ado About Nothing'. Thanks everyone for a great week!
