About Victoria Bladen

I live in Toowong, Brisbane and work in oil, acrylic, gouache and mixed media collage (altered books and assemblage). I grew up in Western Australia and spent my summers in the south-west, swimming, snorkelling and fishing. This inspires the aquatic element in much of my work. Other inspirations in my work include landscape, dance and myth. To date I have held five exhibitions: Beachhouse (Perth 2003), Subtropical (Brisbane 2009), Paintmusic (Brisbane 2013), Aqua Terra Ignis Aer (Brisbane 2015) and The Garden (2016). I hope you enjoy the images online, Victoria
